When the WPS broke up the team was renamed Seattle Reign FC (now OL Reign) of the National Women's Soccer League NWSL. Rapinoe had the chance to score two goals as United States beat Australia 4-3 in the bronze medal game at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
